Zoo Camp 2019: Summer Camp experience full of amazing animals & activities

Raise your hand if you have fond memories of attending summer camp? We do too.

We love the idea of children being given the opportunity to attend summer camp so much we decided to include our love of nature, conservation and giving children hands-on experience with some of the residents of Wildwood Wildlife Park & Safari.

Go Wild With Us!

Entertaining, educational and unforgettable! The four-day camp will be offered to children between the ages of 6-years of age to 9-years of age. Every day of camp offers a different, unique experience to include hands-on experience, science activities, games, tours of the Zoo, art and craft projects. Environmental conservation is one of our core missions; each camp day is slightly different but generally includes hands-on experiences with bio-facts (bones, pelts, etc), science activities, games, tours around the zoo, an art or craft project, and a conservation message.

Both Camp Weeks are child-only. You can also access detailed information found on our website by clicking here

2019 Annual Raking Weekend

Research shows that, on average, human beings are hardwired to be more optimistic than not. It's an admirable quality, one that can positively affect a person’s mental and physical health.

After a mild start to the winter, here in the northwoods of Wisconsin, February and March came in like a lion making themselves way too comfortable. However, spring has officially arrived and here at Wildwood Wildlife Park & Safari, we are optimistic the weather will cooperate and for our annual Spring Raking Clean-Up, scheduled for April 13th and 14th.

We hope you will share our 2019 Spring Raking Clean-Up poster.

The image below is in jpeg format; you can click on the photo and print or share.

Click on the PDF or JPF, download, print and/or send to anyone who is interested in a volunteer service project; students, 4-H, Boy and Girl Scouts, anyone that is looking for community service hours or who wants to spend a fun weekend at the zoo.

Please bring a rake and garden gloves. Wildwood Wildlife Park & Safari will provide lunch on Saturday, April 13th, and Sunday, April 14th.

If the weather requires that we reschedule we will post on our Facebook Page.
